Triskel Christchurch Summer Jazz Series - Myles Drennan and Ian Date

Next up in our highly successful Summer Jazz Series at Triskel Christchurch, we were delighted to present Myles Drennan and Ian Date on the 17th August 2019.

Equally at home on the acoustic and electric guitar, Ian Date’s playing is firmly rooted in the jazz tradition. He has his own engaging style and he brings his intelligence, craft, musicality, skill and humour to all his projects.

Myles Drennan grew up under the mentorship of Irish jazz icon Louis Stewart. Having reportedly learnt much from falling asleep under the family piano, he is rightly regarded as one of Ireland’s great jazz musicians.

With the combination of these two musical talents, this concert was another hit in this popular series curated by us.
