Triskel Christchurch Summer Jazz Series - Paul Dunlea and Cormac McCarthy Duo

The final concert in our Summer Jazz series with Triskel Christchurch saw Paul Dunlea and Cormac McCarthy take the stage on the 31st August 2019.

Although at home in a variety of musical styles, Cork Trombonist, Composer, Arranger Paul Dunlea primarily focuses on Jazz and Improvisation, having toured, recorded and performed with artists such as Michael Bublé, RTÉ Concert Orchestra, The Dublin City Jazz Orchestra, The New Irish Jazz Orchestra, and Brian Deady.

Joining Paul was the Cork-born composer, arranger and pianist Cormac McCarthy. Having studied piano since the age of four, Cormac has performed and composed in a wide range of musical genres such as classical, jazz and traditional Irish music.

This concert was the perfect finale to this series – we are overjoyed with the result and can’t wait for our next curation project with the Triskel in 2020.
